- The BTech Food Technology programme has only Two Gender-Neutral Seats (Open to all candidates) allocated through Sports Quota Admission (SQA).
- The online application portal for SQA will be open from 20-06-2025 to 12-08-2025.
- The application fee for the SQA should be paid online through e-Payment in the link.

- Applicants MUST upload the following scanned documents while submitting the SQA Application.
- Proof of Date of Birth – Birth certificate/SSLC certificate
- Proof of JEE mains scorecard (The candidate should have obtained a position in the Common Rank List (CRL) or category-wise rank list in the JEE (Mains)
- Proof of HSC & SSLC marksheets
- Proof of EWS/OBC-NCL/PwD/SC/ST certificate
- Proof of competitions participated (National or International level)
- Scanned Photo
- Scanned Signature
- Apart from the above-listed documents, if the Institute requires any additional information/clarification, the applicant should provide it by email.
- All the original certificates of scanned copies that have been uploaded while filling online application must be produced for verification at the time of scrutiny. Candidates who fail to produce original certificates will be rejected at any stage.
- The online application without uploading the scanned copies of Proofs of Date of Birth, JEE mains scorecard, HSC, SSLC marksheets and Scanned Photo & Signature will be summarily rejected without any intimation. The SC, ST and PwD candidates should upload scanned copy of the Valid Certificate issued in proper format by competent authority.
- A separate Sports Rank List (SRL) will be prepared based on the total score obtained by the candidates based on their performance in a specific list of sports mentioned in Appendix - A only. The seat allotment will be done based on Sports Rank List only.
- The candidates seeking admission against “Differently abled quota (i.e) PwD” like Hearing impaired /Orthopedically Differently Abled / Visually Impaired should produce the recent certificate from the Medical Board of the District concerned, certifying the nature and extent of disability in percentage. Certificates obtained from an individual Doctor will not be considered and such applications will be summarily rejected. An affidavit can be uploaded for having applied in case the certificate is not yet received.

- All Communications regarding selection/admission will be notified only by e-mail and hence, candidates are requested to provide active e-mail ID and valid mobile number compulsorily. All candidates are instructed to check their e-mail and SMS daily. Important dates/notification will be hosted on NIFTEM-T website https://niftem-t.ac.in/.
NIFTEM-T will not be responsible for any failure in the delivery of emails. - The username and password created for online application should be kept securely with the applicant till the completion of admission.
- The Institute shall not be responsible for wrong entries and technical errors while making the online application/payment of the fees.
- Requests for making corrections in the online application shall not be entertained once the final submission is made.
- If selected, all the original documents will be verified during physical reporting for admission. If anything is found wrong, the applicant’s admission shall be cancelled.
- Important: Ragging is an offence; Students indulging in ragging either inside or outside the college will be prosecuted as per rule.
