Dr. N. Baskaran is working as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at NIFTEM-Thanjavur, India. He completed his M.Phil & Ph.D degree from Annamalai University with prestigious University Grants Commission (UGC) fellowship. He worked as UGC-Post Doctoral Fellow for two years in School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. He has more than ten years of experience in Teaching & Research at various reputed Institutes and also published several research papers in peer-reviewed National and International journals. His area of research interest includes Nutritional Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Biochemical & Molecular Cancer Chemoprevention, Nutraceuticals & Functional foods. For his research contribution, he has received Young Investigator Award in 2011 and Research Excellence Award in 2023 from World Congress on Clinical Nutrition society and International conference on Advancing knowledge from Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Agricultural, Life Sciences, Engineering and Technology & International Award Ceremony respectively. He is serving as a reviewer in many National and International journals and also coordinated various programs such as Conferences, Workshops, Expos and Trainings.
