DDr. P.Krishnakumar is a Teaching Faculty (Contractual)- Food Process Engineering in the Department of Food Engineering at the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management - Thanjavur (NIFTEM-T). He did his B. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering and M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Agricultural Processing and Food Engineering from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He did his Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Agricultural Processing and Structures at the ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. His research interests are in the area of food processing and post-harvest processing. In addition, he worked earlier as Teaching Assistant (Agricultural Processing) at Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute (TNAU), Kumulur, Trichy, Assistant Professor (Sr.Gr.) at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam which is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and Assistant Professor (Agricultural Engineering) in PGP College of Agricultural Science, Namakkal which is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers, Association of Food Scientists and Technologists, Indian Society for Technical Education, Madras Agriculture Students Union and Agricultural Scientific Tamil Society.
